I use a sketchbook to keep track of my ideas, boredom doodles, to-do lists, experiences, and thoughts.

My go-to pen is a pilot G2 0.38mm, and I rarely sketch with anything else. I sketch quickly and chaotically; a super-fine tip allows me to build up layers of lines as I construct and edit a sketch.

I love hatching and cross-hatching to create shadow, but I always carry a 50% grey artist’s marker just in case.
