here exists little regulation on workplace heat, and yet large portions of the American workforce are expected to perform in dangerously warm climates that will only get warmer.

  • The following is a design research and UX project culminating in a concept proposal to overhaul OSHA’s existing app and integrate a wearable device for employee vitals.

  • Heat-related deaths are entirely preventable.

  • I interviewed senior members of 3M’s Industrial and Safety business group, collated relevant articles, and analyzed OSHA’s existing app interface.
